SWOCC Issues

SWOCC is an award-winning community college with its main campus in Coos Bay, and a satellite campus in Brookings. As a board member, Jeremy's goals are crafted to fit within the scope of board roles defined by Oregon state law. Jeremy's goals are as follows.

1. Monitor the College budget and finances to ensure that they are in compliance with Oregon budget law, and that operations are financially sustainable.
2. Use his knowledge of the community and his experience to help inform the College's strategic plan.
3. Work to ensure that the College President is performing at the highest level.
4. Serve as a liaison to the College Foundation to help with the development of gifts and investments to serve the College mission.
5. Advocate for legislation to improve College operations.
6. Serve as a strong voice for the remote residents of Curry County.
